When it comes to our RVs you can count on them being original. We check and change every single piece from the walls, to the floor, the stove and individualize each camper. We make sure no one else will have the same layout and that you can say, ‘“my” RV is the only one like it.!’ We customize the layout to have an open flow and our signature standout piece is always the dining table. You will notice how bright our RVS are, we make a point to paint the walls white so that it brightens her up, we change the lighting, as well as add signature shiplap to the walls.
Our dining tables are very unique because we believe that the best memories are always shared around a meal. At times, we create the dining table into a bar top which is very unique in the RV world. Sometimes we use bench seating to really tap into the tiny house feel. You can know when you buy and RV from Tomaz Coast to Coast that you are getting a loved and cared for RV.
When we are renovating, our go to’s are Amazon (obviously) check out our Amazon store front, for what lights, paint brushes, light bulbs, stove tops, even where to get affordable hardware for your cabinets. We typically go with Tic Tac Tiles for our backsplashes. They are incredibly hardy and they are light weight. For flooring, we visit Home Depot and use peel & stick flooring. We use Luon for our shiplap and you can check out our Youtube Video on how to DIY your own shiplap walls. This is a great way to cover any holes that happened during the process of removing the valences from the walls.

Paint: Her signature paint was Behr Pewter Green, it was a sexy subtle color that popped with the use of wood tones and neutral. Behr is always a good product for RVs as well as cost efficient.
Furniture:, IKEA is an ideal price range as well as weight. When you are renovating an RV, everything comes down to the weight of the RV. You don’t want the furniture or fixtures to weigh the RV down because it can put a lot more stress on the engine of your vehicle you are using to tow it. Also, the heavier the RV, the more weight you need to stop in an emergency. Using lightweight fixtures & furniture really helps in reducing the weight of the RV while you are towing it from adventure to adventure.
If we can’t find it at IKEA then Walmart is actually one of the best places for RVS as that is a great part of their customer base.
Interior Decor: If you are thinking of renovating your RV, the first thing you want to do is remove the valences and then the second is to add some white paint over the walls. You just need to lightly sand over the wall paper, a 220 grit is perfect, spray some tsp to get any dust off and then use a PPG Gripper primer to go over everything. This can be used on the cabinets as well. You can use an oil based primer but we have found it is unbearable on the eyes while priming. Once you’ve gotten one coat down, unless it is a very dark background you can let it dry and throw some paint up. Some people spray the primer and some roll. Both work it is just a matter of what you prefer. We sprayed our first RV but then ended up rolling the Primer on our second so we didn’t have to cover the windows. As long as Igor isn’t cutting the edges we are good to go, haha. Some scotch painters tape for the windows and an edge brush and you are good to go.
